For years, I did everything "right" and slowly lost myself along the way.

Now I live in a little cabin in the woods, hike with my dogs nearly every day, and help women find out what they want and go after it, without the guilt.

I know what it's like when life shifts, whether it's a relationship that ended, a loss, a career you outgrew, or recovering from burnout.

Midlife doesn't have to be a reinvention. It can be a homecoming.

I'm Rachel, a yoga teacher and midlife transition coach, and I'd love to walk beside you.

You're Allowed to want more from this next chapter.

At 30, a relationship ended and I had no idea who I was on my own. I didn't even know what brought me joy, so I started asking myself one question every day: what is one thing that would make me happy today, just for me? It took a while, but on a long hike with my dog, it hit me that I was finally starting to feel like myself again.

At 41, my mom died on Christmas Eve, and some days my practice was literally sitting on my mat to cry. The grief shattered me and I had to make my way back to the land of the living.

At 45, I left my corporate career and found myself totally burned out, and I'm still doing nervous system work to recover.

Each time, coming home has meant peeling back the layers that were never mine, until I could hear the whisper in my heart again and trust her.

I've had to find my way home more than once.

What is one thing that would make me happy today,
just for me?

I started asking myself that one question, every single day:

I found yoga in high school, as a bonus track on a Pilates VHS (remember those?), and I've been practicing for nearly 30 years now. I've taught since 2015, with over 1,000 hours of classes behind me.

My degree is in environmental science, and I love weaving what nature teaches about change into my coaching and yoga classes.

I'm a Yoga Alliance E-RYT 200, RYT 500, and YACEP, a certified CBT (Cognitive Behavior Technique) life coach and holistic health coach, a Reiki practitioner, and I'm certified to teach TRX.

I continue studying psychology, neuroscience, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation because we teach what we've most needed ourselves. Every one of these has been part of my own path, and I can only guide a client as far as I've gone myself.

My background

— Bridget

“I've basically burned myself out taking are of everyone else and out myself on the back burner. Recently I've decided I need to be on a journey to take care of me first. I was not exactly sure what to expect from the session and it was even more than I hoped for. I left feeling very relaxed, very clear, and like I had dropped loads of emotional and physical baggage. I don't know when, if ever I have felt this relaxed and free."

Testimonials:

— Anonymous

“I left feeling like a completely different person. I felt like I shifted and I was seeing my worth a lot more clearly. I felt shame and doubt lifted from my shoulders and I was safe to be fully myself. Flaws and all. I didn't expect to cry that much but I think it might have been exactly the emotional release I needed to move forward with my life. I'm embracing natural and alternative methods to decrease anxiety and become more connected to my spirituality. After this event, I feel like it is finally time to move forward and do just that. I feel connected to people and resources that can help me on that journey. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a serious reset and refocus on their goals and self care."

“The concepts are simple but life changing."

— Jennifer

Rachel met me where I was, helped me define my goals, and broke everything down so simply. She checked in with me every week as I needed and helped me in areas that I was slipping in. I am completely shocked at the difference this has made in my life. I never thought I would be doing this well, let alone so quickly."

When I bought my cabin in 2016, people told me it was a money pit. It sagged so badly on its stilts that the roof looked like it was smiling, so I called it my happy house and bought it anyway. Now I have flower, herb, and vegetable gardens all over and a little zoo of dogs, cats, and chickens.

Radiantly Rooted followed the path of my own evolution. For years I was seeking and striving, looking for answers outside of myself. I still seek, and I always will, but now I'm rooted, in this land and in myself, and I get to tend both every day.

Now I get to help women build the life they want, one small, steady step at a time, and I don't take a single day of it for granted.
